We will work on a (roughly) 30"x30" piece of primed canvas as I guide you through a way to fearlessly approach a large white space. You will leave with an abstract mixed media piece ready for you to stretch, frame, tear up & stitch, hang or simply admire. I love working on a canvas like this over a period of time and our objective is to focus on process over finished product. Supplies included but feel free to bring a favorite acrylic paint color or two.

Create from scratch a mega sized Daily Creative Everything Journal like Andrea uses for everything (Morning Pages, Daily Lists, Project Planning, Meeting Notes, Doodles, Sketches, Paintings and more). We will use an 11x14 pad of Mixed Media 98lb paper and you will leave with a journal ready to include EVERYTHING in your Daily Creative Life.

Supplies we provide:
11x14 Pad of Strathmore Vision Mixed media paper(70sheets)
Waxed cord and use of book binding tools (awl, needle, bonefolder)
2 Manila folders & adhesive for front and back covers.

Pulling prompts and seeing what happens is one of my favorite approaches to mixed media art making (or at least starting) This time together will expose you to a collection of mixed media techniques you can try time and again in alternating order to achieve different and exciting results each time. You will leave class with a deck of richly layered cards ready for future artwork, art journaling embellishment, card making, affirmation cards, wisdom cards and more. Supplies included.

We will work on 3 parent sheets in rotation through the 3 hour workshop. This mixed media approach will heavily feature water media, watercolor, inks, crayons etc with the inclusion of some acrylic painted papers and ephemera. You will leave with parent sheets ready for further layer or to be torn down for pages of an art journal. Supplies included.
